The following is a link to a report that just aired on National Public Radio (segment one) regarding online learning. I am frequently asked, since beginning this postion, how it differs from brick and mortar institutions. There is very little in this brief clip with which I don’t agree.

The recent report from the Florida TaxWatch regarding Florida Virtual School comes down positively on this school’s performance using measures of economic efficiency weighed against traditional student outcomes. It is studies like this, however, that can lull us into a sense of complacency. Online delivery is emerging, but what is it that we are delivering?
