A Vision of Students Today…

This video was produced by Dr. Michael Wesch’s class at Kansas State University.  These are the students of the 21st Century who pose for us the challenge of revolutionizing education!  As a classroom teacher and researcher, I am curious to hear your thoughts.

One Response to “A Vision of Students Today…”

  1. Charter schools offer alternatives to public K-12 education. It is rather sad to think that universities, or all places, can’t reform themselves. Maybe we need charter universities. Could you imagine the hue and cry if Minnesota would charter a new university that was charged with being innovative?
As an intermediate step, perhaps BlueSky could partner with a post secondary institution and strongly encourage our 11th and 12th graders to do PSEO there, with the understanding that the postsecondary institution would have to work with us on innovative new curriculum and teaching practices.
